Southeastern Alaska has been hit with an earthquake of 5.0 magnitude on Saturday night according to reports.
Alaska’s earthquake center has revealed that the earthquake in Alaska started at around 8:32 p.m. and even felt in Sitka to Whitehorse, Yukon territory of Canada.
“No damage was immediately reported, but according to social media accounts, it was felt as far away as Whitehorse, the capital of the Yukon.” Reported by Anchorage Daily News.
No tsunami warnings issued or danger reported by Tsunami Warning Center.
Alaska was also hit by 3.8 magnitude of earthquake 2 days ago which was felt by residents of Juneau, Haines, Skagway and Klukwan.
